The American Youth Football League (AYFL) season has come to a end and now the playoffs have arrived and here are some of the HOT games of the first round.
#1 Cooper City Cowboys 140s Vs. Davie Broncos 140s
In a rematch of the regular season these two teams both come in believing they can make it to the super bowl. The Broncos started out this season beating all teams in his path but after a player was identified as being too old they had to forfeit some wins but the broncos fought back the rest of there season for there playoff lives,and now here they are in the 1st round of the playoffs playing the Hotbed pound for pound rank best team in the AYFL.For Cooper city it’s journey starts now as they ran the throw the regular season undefeated and untested this season but as we know the important season starts Saturday as the cowboys want to continue there winning ways and head on to the semi’s next weekend.
#12 Plantation Wildcats 125s Vs. Pembroke Pines Bengals 125s
The Wildcats finished there season 10-1 and feel like this is there season to finally take the crown as champions and they have a good reason as they have been putting up big points all season and also not allowing many.Pembroke Pines had a tough season this year due to a lot of injuries to key players but the Bengals bounced back and won a few games in a row and ended up making the playoffs with the 7th seed.This game is going to have athletes all over the field for the wildcats keep your eyes on #3 Marlon King to be making big plays for his team.The Bengals are led by do it all tailback #2 Matt Geimer who is an emotional leader for his team and will pound the football.
Miramar Wolverines 125s Vs. Coral Springs Chargers 125s
This could be the most interesting game of the weekend.The Chargers and Wolverines did not play in the regular season but have heard about a potential 1st round match up against each other most of the season.Both teams had pretty good regular seasons finishing with identical records of 8-3 but records are out the window now and it’s win or go home.The Wolverines are a straight down hill power running team led by arguably one of the best backs in the league #5 Desmond Branton.But the Chargers have an excellent run game of there own led by #22 James Bostic who is respected around the league as one of the best players.This should be a very exciting game with a lot on the line.
