The Underdog that Never Quit…

With nothing to lose and everything to gain…. This is the story of Tyrek Williams, AKA… T-SMOOVE, a young A/B honor roll student athlete who has the dream and aspiration of becoming a great Quarterback.

It all started at the age of 4 when Tyrek would observe his older brother practice. Tyrek walked on the football field, tapped a coach on the leg and asked, “can I play football”? The coach asked how old are you and he responded, I’m 4. The coach told Tyrek he was not old enough to play yet. He was hurt!! He turned around, walked off the field with his head down and began to cry out loud. The coaches and his dad heard him crying and asked, “what’s wrong”? He responded, “I wanna play football daddy, I can do it”. He began to train very hard at accomplishing his Goals of becoming a quarterback and a leader.

T-Smoove’s young career started with only playing the minimum number of plays per game, though his skill level was much greater. This kid was determined to play more and therefore worked harder to become a great football player. He would stay late to practice and work on quarterback drills, even though he wasn’t looked at as being a QB. In past seasons, he played at wide receiver, defensive end, tight end, and other positions, but
He continued to give his all and remained a team player despite it not
Being his dream position.

In 2013, the “underdog” has been more determined than ever to become a great QB. T-Smoove made up his mind that he will no longer be overlooked and began to work his hardest ever, sometimes four hours a day after school on QB drills and throwing the football. With an intense QB competition between 3 great players, T-Smoove finally earned his dream of becoming a QB and is ready to lead his team, MOT 8u, to a national championship victory.

With that being said, we introduce to you the MOT Cowboys 8u QB, Tyrek Williams A.K.A, T-SMOOVE. A young athlete who when no one else saw the fight in him, believed in himself and never gave up, even when giving up was the easiest option.
