With the early part of the season over the meat of the season is just around the corner for coach Jerome Horton and his 2-0 Miramar East Wolverines. Sweeping through play against Weston and Boca, Miramar’s talented 13U team is now gearing up for the difficult part of their season where their true mettle will be tested.
In consecutive weeks beginning Saturday, they will face undefeated Coral Springs and Plantation.
It’s something his team has been looking forward to according to coach Horton whose team motto is “If they like it, we love it.” A repeated call and response chat his team says, which simply means that opposing teams looking forward to putting Miramar to the test should look forward to their response and passion on the field.
We caught up with the 13U AYFL team that achieved great things last year as a 12U team going 8-2 and are looking for championship rings this season. Watch as this talent laden team introduces themselves to the Hotbed World.
