Real Speed Develops Champions
Everyone that knows football knows the saying “Speed Kills”. The ability to get faster and stronger is what pushes the envelope on the football field to be the best. There are many companies, coaches and clinics you can attend to help you master the art of running and building your way up to maximize your talent. Surely it helps to have some natural ability to help the process, but like always people are looking for that edge or extra boost to make them better. Football Hotbed was fortunate enough to sit down with another coach and his company and their impact on the Orange County area for making kids better.
For more than 5 years now Coach Camron Carmona has been working his magic in the Orange County area making kids better at their craft for the youth age group. Carmona runs a clinic every weekend where kids can come out and get better learning the fine mechanics of running and building speed. Carmona has capitalized on his efforts as a high school coach at local Orange Lutheran High by having a high energy training routine that gets the kids pumped and coming back for more. Carmona will admit it has been a joy to give back to the community and work with youth kids to help shape them with going for their dreams and having a dose of reality. The reality that youth players that want to be recruited in the future control just as much of their future in the classroom as they do on the field.

Carmona has also successfully (with his coaching staff) put together a dynamic youth 7v7 team named “Real Speed” that will be competing the Football Hotbed 2015 Tournament Series at the West Coast Super Regional Combine. His team is a mixture of 7th & 8th graders that have been on the mission all spring to attend tournaments and compete. They had incredible success attending major tournaments in Las Vegas and Los Angeles put on by Pylon where at both events they got to the semi-finals. April 25th will be no different his team will be ready and prepared to battle it out and take home a trophy. They are loaded with a talented team and now have experience under their belt to compete again at a high level.
