UM ‘CanesFest’ Set For August 12


The University of Miami announced Wednesday that its annual “CanesFest” event will be held on August 12th at Hard Rock Stadium.

At the event, which will run from noon to 4 p.m., fans will be able to take pictures with and get autographs from current Hurricanes players as well as participate in a number of other UM-centric activities – including a stadium tour, photo opportunities with UM cheerleaders and Sebastian the Ibis, a scavenger hunt for children and a fan zone.

Also, according to the release, there will be exclusive activities and experiences for season ticket holders.

Certain activities and all autograph opportunities will require fans to a voucher to participate. Vouchers will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 1 p.m. the day of the event.

The fan zone will open at noon and the stadium gates will open at 1 p.m.
