Airo 7v7 To Provide Big Platform for Youth & Adidas Gear

Posted in:

Florida based Airo Sports, a leader in the 7v7 off season football format, has now developed a nation-wide series model that will begin in Kissimie, FL this summer and feature a youth division with middle school and youth  league teams gaining major exposure and getting some cool gear from Adidas.

Dave Menard, one of the founders of Airo Athletics, now Airo Sports, has been a trail blazer in the 7v7 world for sometime.  He’s now teamed up with Rich McGuinness who is best known for creating the Army All-American game.  The two are now making waves in innovation regarding the ever popular 7v7 format.  It’s the launch of a nation wide state championship series of rostered teams that will compete in the fall, not all-star teams who are comprised of guys from different teams who eventually will disperse.

7v7“The core mission at conception for Airo 7v7 was to provide a regional and national platform for top football players to showcase their skill and ability against other top athletes through the 7v7 stage, through leagues and tournaments to national all-star 7v7 competitions,” says Menard.

For youth, middle schools and youth  league teams are both eligible.  And the exposure is sure to be amazing.

The state championship series begins in Kissimie, FL on June 19-21st and goes to Georgia and then Louisiana.  Next year, it will go nation-wide.

Youth teams get a chance to compete for a State Championship in Florida and the top four teams get invited to the Southeast Regional Championship in July.
