THE FBU EXPERIENCE

From the creators of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl comes a one-of-a-kind football training experience exclusively for the nation’s most elite youth and high school players.Born out of the appreciation that the most successful and skilled football players have mastered great technique, and that for many younger players this level of coaching is simply not available, the Football University (FBU) experience focuses on intense position-specific technique training taught by our expert faculty of former and current NFL coaches who have a passion for sharing this experience with young athletes.

FBU is an invitation-only experience because we seek to train only the athletes who are the most serious about their football. Also, parents are actively involved in the FBU experience because we know that parents are a young athlete’s most important coach and supporter.

At the game’s higher levels, talent is a given. If you’ve been invited to FBU, you have it. You’ve demonstrated you’re one of the best in your region. But to play beyond high school – to be one of the best in the nation – it’ll take more. This truth gave rise to another: Technique plus talent beats talent alone.

The FBU Three-Fold Approach

Dedicated, serious athletes – FBU athletes – have one common goal: pursuing football at the highest level. With this in mind, FBU created its three-fold approach to developing elite athletes:

1. Make them better technical football players.
2. Make them better athletes and prepare them for success at combines.
3. Expose their entire football portfolio to as many colleges as possible.

The first two make the third far easier.

FBU takes elite athletes – elite football players – and turns them into elite quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers, linemen, linebackers and defensive backs. Registered athletes choose one position and receive position-specific, technique training from coaches whose methods are NFL-tested.

The three days and 18 hours of training consist of individual drills and one-on-ones, as players implement what they’ve learned, testing their technique against other athletes. At the end of camp, athletes receive an FSAT (Football Skill and Technical) grade reflecting their speed, strength and performance in positional drills.

Most FBU athletes have been the best player on the field every time they stepped on it. For most, athleticism, speed and size got them there. By refining your raw abilities and honing your technique, FBU’s goal is to ensure that this remains true regardless of the competition and level of play.
