Jacksonville-Fla, –Football Hotbed spoke with Mr Deante Hampton on Valentines day and he said Mike Lundy is “a big cry baby” and he does not care about the kids. Hampton said that Lundy only cares about himself. Mr Hampton say Mike is running from coaches because he know he is going to get blasted this year.
Hotbed asked Mr Hampton if he will go live on the air on Hotbed Radio Monday night at 8:30 p.m. and tell us the story and he said he “will be the one to tell the world that Mike Lundy is a cloud of dust.”
Mr Hampton also asked “why is every one worried about Sweetwater doing him wrong when he was talking about leaving the kids two years ago and going to Miami to coach he was not thinking about that group of kids then?”
Mr. Hampton was referring to last off season during which Mike Lundy publicly flirted with heading to Miami to coach at Richmond Park and move out of Jacksonville. Lundy ended up deciding not to move and stayed at Sweetwater.
“Where was all these people who saying he getting did wrong?” Hampton said of Lundy’s move last season. “Where was they when he was talking about leaving these kids an going to Miami?”
Mr. Hampton continued by saying “Every year its something new with Mike, this year he was telling people he gone stay at Jr. Midgets then he told Slim he doing Jr. Pee Wee and telling people remember what happened last time he was at jr Pee Wee (national championship).”
“Maybe if he didn’t pull all that and just chilled and went to Donny [Moore] (the Sweetwater President) and just talked, he probably wouldn’t be talking about retiring,” Hamton said this morning on Facebook.
