Talented Virginia Linebacker Accepts Hotbed All-American Game Invite

Posted in:

There’s talent all across this Football Hotbed landscape in America and the coastal southern Virginia area is no different.  That’s where Football Hotbed looked and found class of 2019 standout linebacker, Jake Low of Princess Anne Middle School.  Jake is one of the nation’s top talents and has been recognized as such by several youth football platforms including Youth 1, Football University and now Football Hotbed.  With Jake, what makes him stand out is his tenacity and athleticism, but overall it’s his winning ways.

Low was named an Eastbay All-American last season

Jake’s long been a part of a Virginia Beach Mustang program in Pop Warner that have consistently made it to the national championship super bowl in Orlando, FL at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (Disney).  They have played some of the nation’s talented programs and done very well.  He, along with fellow Hotbed Youth All-American invitee, Tank Land,  have taken that program to new heights.  Along the way, Jake has become a standout athlete excelling on both offense and defense.

Football Hotbed has named Jake Low and All-American at the linebacker position.  Here’s the rundown on Mr. Low:

Why we like him?

Jake Low comes from a talent rich area in Virginia Beach, they regularly feed a tradition rich and successful program at Virginia Tech.  Low is excelling among premier talent and players thriving in an area that sends a lot of athletes to division one colleges and universities to play football.  That is what we know what we see on film is real.  We see speed, vision and tenacity as a linebacker.  His record of winning lets us know he’s also a leader on and off the field.  We’re very excited to see him perform in front of an international audience in our Football Hotbed Youth All-American game in Jacksonville, FL on January 3rd.

How we selected him?

We saw a clip of Jake making an interception on Instagram and immediately reached out.  He was athletic and read the play to perfection.  We instantly fell in love.

Intangibles

Jake wants to be the best and that’s why he’s played with the best.  He doesn’t run away from competition.  We can also tell by his off season camp regime that he’s sincerely working at his craft in order to be the best player he can possibly be.  That tells us he wants to play beyond High School, on the college level.  That means the competitive nature of the Football Hotbed Youth All-American game is just right for Jake.  Our goal is to field the most competitive All-American game in the country.  We did so by hand picking in person over 30% of our 2019 class and selectively adding talent ‘at-large’ like Jake Low.  We look forward to January.  It’s a Hotbed World!
