Miami Pop Warner: The West Park Saints Play Maker Speaks Out

West Park, Fla,–The saying is as cliche as they come but it must be true, ‘to be the best you have to beat the best.’  And that’s just what Rory Livingston and his West Park Saints team did last week to the tune of a 12-6 upset win over the Florida City Razorback Midget Pop Warner team coached by two time national championship coach, Eddie Alford.

Livingston and his head coach Ron Strong were confident going into the game, which was played at McTyre park in West Park, Fla.  It was Livingston’s huge kick off return that lifted his team to the upset win after getting down 7-0 early in the game.

“This kid told me he was going to run back the first kick off and now I owe this kid $20. We had a bet but as we tell them it’s not where you start its where you finish. But Rory is one of the greatest playmakers at the [Midget] level,” said assistant West Park Saints coach Kenyon Fussell.

Listen as Livingston tells Football Hotbed how he pulled off the great play, propelling his team to victory.
