Every year, his talent and star is rising and has been a staple performer on the youth football level since age nine.  With his tremendous speed, consistently performing at the top of his age level in track and field, McBurrows is a true terror on the football field.  Over the course of time, Football Hotbed has watched him develop into one of the most dynamic running backs in South Florida.  He’s truly made the transition from being just a fast runner, to a skilled runner with vision and toughness, running in between the tackles just as effectively as he does running on the outside.

He’s been the key player for the Pembroke Pines Optimist club that now has national prominence for the past four years and he’s still getting better each and every year.  Take a look at these UNDER THE RADAR highlights from this past weekend’s game versus the Diamond Valley Steelers of Pomona, California (Head Coach, Snoop Dog aka Calvin Broadus) in which McBurrows light up the competition on the ground and with tenacious defense.  He’s truly one of the best players in the country, a Football Hotbed Middle School All-American.
