Hillsboro, OR— Football Hotbed is making its inaugural trip to the Northwest in search of talented athletes to showcase and extend invitations to the Middle School eligible talents, making them Football Hotbed All-Americans. As the nation’s only All-American showcase platform that tours the nation looking for athletes in person, eliminating the need for film for those who do not have access to it, Football Hotbed prides itself on going to ‘Hotbeds’ of youth football nation wide.
The Northwest region of United States is undoubtedly becoming one such place.
Team Oregon has been a fixture in the FBU National Championship tournaments competing very well since its inception in 2011, especially on the 8th grade level. Their starter at quarterback, Cade Knighton, traveled to Ft. Lauderdale in 2015 and placed 6th out of 17 quarterbacks in the first ever National Middle School QB Invitational Showcase. Knighton was ranked as a result of his throwing at the event the No. 1 QB by QB Hitlist.
In 2016, he came back to Florida and had another great showing finishing tied for 7th out of 23 quarterbacks representing 25 states.
He is just one of many reasons that Hotbed is anxious to travel to the Northwest from Miami (its home base) to survey the depth of talent in Oregon.
Please pre-register for the event below. On site registration will be $60. All participants will receive a combine t-shirt. Attending 8th grade athletes will compete for best QB, WR, RB, OL/DL, LB and DB in a showcase like format.
