Miramar Stuns St. Thomas Aquinas 44-27

Ft. Lauderdale– After the back and forth fight typical of a rivalry match up, the Miramar Patriots and first year head coach AJ Scott hit a gear and rattled off three straight scores in route to a 44-27 upset victory of No. 18 St. Thomas Aquinas Friday.

Freshman running back Katravis Geter scored three times and those scores were set up by the excellent passing and running combination from Steve Williams, Jr. who had a banner night.

St. Thomas battled back from a 13-o deficit in the first quarter and then again in the third but late in that quarter, the Patriots got a hold of the wheel and wouldn’t let it go.  Here are the game highlights.
