Coconut Creek, FL – The Under Armour All-American Camps bring out the best of the best players in a region to compete and display their talent.  Sunday in sunny South Florida four players punched their ticket to compete in the UA All American Game at North Broward Preparatory School. The four: DB Jordan Battle (St. Thomas Aquinas, Fort Lauderdale ), DB Kaiir Elam (Benjamin (Palm Beach), ATH Tecory Couch (Chaminade-Madonna) and WR John Dunmore (Chaminade-Madonna, Hollywood).

“I needed it,” said Dunmore.  “It was a great experience coming out here and earned my invite.  I came out here and dominated.”

The four star wide receiver who will looking to take Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood) to back to back state championships next season, is looking to take his time during the recruiting process.  After decommitting from the University of Florida earlier this year, Dunmore is looking to weigh out all of his options. He plans to visit Florida and Florida State June 30th and 31st and Michigan April 14th for the Wolverine Spring Game.  Miami is also still on the radar as the Canes junior day is a possibility for him.

“I should be unveiling my top ten soon.  I’m just taking my time and I don’t want to rush into anything.”

Florida State seems to be the front runner for Dunmore and affectionately referred to Head Coach Willie Taggart as a big brother.  He also mentioned that this would be his family’s dream school.

St. Thomas Aquinas safety Jordan Battle has ascended in the national rankings rather rapidly since making an athletic interception against St. John Bosco in last years season opener.  He showed his versatility to play corner as well playing solid press coverage.

“I came out here ready to get it and I got it,”  said Battle. “I feel great, I feel blessed right now so I’m happy.”

Recruiting has taken off for Battle as well as he is set to visit Ohio State April 14th for their spring game.  Much like the 2002 national championship game Ohio State and Miami are battling for the stand out defensive back as he has pegged those two schools as his favorites.

“Both of the schools have great communication and a family feel.  The brotherhood is what is standing out for me. I can definitely feel the love.”

Also impressing on this day were four star Cardinal Gibbons DE Khris Bogle and Columbus DE Elijah Roberts who were both honored as the best lineman at the camp.  Palm Beach Central OL Renato Brown and Doral Academy DT Denzel Daxon also were very impressive in one on one drills.  All are the aforementioned lineman are highly favored to be Miami Hurricanes.

The next Under Armour Camp is set for next week in Orlando, FL at West Orange High School.
