Football Hotbed 7vs7 Tryouts: Standout Players

Marcus Benjamin @_BenjaminReport

Tamarac, FL – The football season is officially coming to a close on all levels, but the seven on seven season is about to begin.  Football Hotbed is one of the many organizations that will be putting together a seven on seven teams for several age groups. This type of football has proven to be a way for division one hopefuls to enhance their skills.  Quarterbacks have four seconds to get the ball to their playmakers and this type of football does not involve blocking, tackling, kicking or pass rushes. The seven on seven circuits have evolved rapidly over the past ten years and tournaments will begin in the new year all over the country.

Football Hotbed Tryouts were held on Saturday, December 22nd and here are some of the standout players starting from 12u to 15u followed by varsity:

12u – 15u

Ryan Sims – Has great feet and runs sharp routes. Will be dangerous out of the backfield or in the slot.

Isaiah Alcire – Made plays everywhere.  Can see him at cornerback, wide receiver or safety

Taslean Reddicks – A playmaker probably most lethal in the slot, can also play some running back.

Tremone Drisdom – Can see him at linebacker or defensive back and has solid technique.

Craig Allen – Has potential to be lockdown corner on the next level.

Dari Belfort – One of the top quarterbacks of the day, makes quick decisions and throws receivers open.

Hunter Anderson – Can make every throw.  Throws a beautiful deep ball that hit targets in stride.
