2022 National Middle School Invitational Showcase Boasts Elite Young Talent

Atlanta, GA– The 2022 National Middle School Invitational Showcase boasts some of the best middle school talents in the 8-year history of the event.  The Future 4 Middle School MVP for the rising 9th grade class of 2026 was Josiah Oxendine from Dillon High (SC). The overall skill MVP was Kamden Jennings of Cumming, GA who will head to play for Denmark High, the host school for the showcase.  The 2026 lineman MVP was Tommy Horne of Phenix City, AL who will play for Central High School in the fall. Horne is only the second ever back-to-back winner at the National Middle School Showcase’s lineman challenge.  He won the MVP last year in 7th grade also.

Brandon Odoi is a tenured journalist. He's covered youth football since 8th grade, high school football since 2009 and began covering college football in 2011 as a beat writer for the University of Miami Athletic programs. In 2011, he founded Football Hotbed a national multi-media platform for football across the country. He's a graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and spent his first five years as a professional working at ABC Television Network, ending his career as a producer in Miami. He's married with two sons and resides in South Florida.
