Tallahassee, FL- In one of the most exciting games of the Florida High School football season, the Coccoa Tigers defeated Florida High School 38-31 in overtime to claim the 2 Suburban Florida High School Athletic Association title for 2022. Cocoa quarterback Blake Boda had a monster game throwing for 23 for 35 passing for 256 yards and two touchdowns adding another 79 yards and two more touchdowns on the ground. Boda, a senior, is one of the best quarterbacks in the entire state of Florida.
Micahi Danzy rushed for 190 yards and a score in a losing effort for Florida High. Cocoa head coach Ryan Schneider wins his first championship since leaving St. Thomas Aquinas and his native Fort Lauderdale for Brevard County.
