The vaunted 12U Inland Empire Ducks (Corona, CA) play the High Desert Hawks (Victorville, CA) under the lights this Saturday. The Ducks, widely considered among the top teams nationally in their age division, are coming off a game where they squeaked by a league opponent who is the defending super bowl champion. Ducks Hotbed All-American ATH Anthony Beavers continues to nurse a hand injury and should return before the season’s end.
In the mean time, several Ducks will have to step up to keep the undefeated record in tact. Especially against an upset seeking Hawks team who is considered the best team in the AAU Eastern Conference in California. On the Hawk’s website, they are drumming up support and asking people to head to Corona High at 7 PM on Saturday to watch their team battle the “No 1 Nationally Ranked Team in the U.S.”
