Southridge Flexes Its Muscle, Pounds Palmetto 32-7

Despite a long layoff – nearly three weeks without playing a game – Miami Southridge showed no signs of rust as the Spartans jumped out early and cruised to a 32-7 victory over district rival Miami Palmetto Thursday night at Southridge Park.

The Spartans defense put on a spirited performance – recording an interception, a forced and recovered fumble, and a safety.
