Miami Central Knocks off Carol City Behind James Cook’s Big Night

Only days earlier, four-star RB prospect James Cook of Miami Central committed to the University of Georgia Bulldogs program to play his college football.  Cook was previously committed to FSU but spurned his older brother and current Minnesota Vikings’ alma mater to blaze his own path.  He also blazed the gridiron Friday night at Traz Powell stadium as he lead the Miami Central Rockets to an amazing 26-13 victory of Carol City.

Cook’s stats on the night were incredible.  He finished the night with three interceptions, two returned for touchdowns and one rushing touchdown.  Most of his activity came in the fourth quarter with his team trailing.  He turned on the lights in a major way and proved why he’s one of the best athletes in South Florida.
