CHESTERFIELD, VA– Under the threat of rain from Tropical Depression Laura, a hurricane that reached Category 4 strength just days prior, over 60 student-athletes came out to Football Hotbed’s Richmond Exposure Showcase regional to display their talent. The overall showcase MVP was Baltimore, Maryland’s Kylen Austin. The 2021 WR had a 4.17 shuttle run, ran fast, and had the biggest catches during the 1 on 1 period of the camp.
The Future 4 High School competition was taken by Charlotte, North Carolina’s 2021 QB Zaire Kenney. The 5’10 signal-caller showed off his big arm throughout the competition and his leadership. Being unable to attend the Spartanburg, SC showcase which was much closer to his home town, Kenney made the four-hour drive to Richmond and didn’t disappoint.
Other camp standouts made a name for themselves during the combine, one on one drills or during the 7v7 portion of the showcase. Several invites to our National Showcase Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior games will be extended from this camp.

Kylen Austin, 2021 WR Baltimore, MD- With crisp routes and quick cuts in windy and rainy conditions, this 2021 sleeper is a certain DI prospect. Austin made the difficult catches and out ran defenders consistently all day.
Zaire Kenney, Charlotte, NC – Future 4 QB MVP- Leadership, intelligence and poise under pressure. This quarterback gets it done. #TurnOntheTape
Cameron Hawkins, Woodford, VA, Defensive MVP- LB- Even as just a rising sophomore, the MIKE backer led his team defensively during the 7v7 portion of the camp, serving as the on-field defensive coordinator. He took on incredible leadership, was vocal and made plays.
Jadon Valentine, Virginia Beach, VA -DB MVP- Blanket coverage all day long. Ran fast, 4.66 40 yard time and a 4.25 shuttle put him on the watchlist during the combine portion of the camp and his one on one work and 7v7 play didn’t disappoint. Should be more than ready to make the transition from JV to varsity in his Junior season.
Michael Mutyambizi, 2021 Hanover, Pennsylvania- RB MVP- A strong day by the senior from the Northeast. A solid 40 time and shuttle were matched with a great one on one camp segment and the individual drills work sealed the MVP nod for Mr. Mutyambizi.
Elijah Muden, 2022 Virginia Beach, VA Defensive Lineman MVP-
Brandon Thomas, 2025 Virginia Beach, VA- Offensive Line MVP- Fresh off his National Middle School Invitational Showcase MVP performance, he comes to his instate High School Exposure Showcase and nabs another award as only an 8th grader.
Honorable Mention Performers:
Jacob Seaborne, Jr. 2024 WR (Chester, VA) With 4.59 he’s the camp’s fastest man.
Micah Jones, 2022 WR (Roanoke, VA)- A 4.6 40 and great one on one session turned heads.
Robert Jones, 2023 LB (Virginia Beach, VA)- Some big plays during 7v7 couldn’t be ignored.
Hunter Cardwell, III, 2021 WR (Stafford, VA)- The second best WR all day behind Austin.
Nikolas Dunford– 2022 WR ( Evington, VA)- A nice size prospect that has enough speed and the range to make some big plays.
