DAY 1 Results- The 12th Annual Future 4 Middle School QB Competition

The 12th Annual Football Hotbed National Middle School Invitational Showcase quarterback competition kicked off Monday at Duke University with a full day of evaluation and competition featuring some of the nation’s top young signal callers. The day began with combine testing, transitioned into routes on air, and concluded with the highly anticipated QB Test, with scores from all three phases combined to establish the Day One leaderboard in each graduating class. Future 4 Director and Head Quarterback Coach Drew Phillips came away impressed with the level of talent on display. “This is one of the deepest and most talented groups we’ve had in recent years,” Phillips said. “The arm talent, football IQ, and competitiveness these young quarterbacks showed today was outstanding. There are several players here with very bright futures ahead of them.” The competition will conclude Tuesday at Raleigh’s Ravenscroft School, where quarterbacks will compete in live throwing sessions and final evaluations to determine the overall champions in each class.
