Final Results: Future 4 Class of 2033 5th Grade

Raleigh, NC – The inaugural 2033 class of Future 4 quarterbacks did not disappoint, showcasing a talented group of young signal-callers during Football Hotbed’s 12th Annual National Middle School Invitational Showcase at Duke University and Ravenscroft School.

Following two days of competition that included combine testing, routes on air, quarterback drills, and live evaluations, Future 4 Director Drew Phillips came away impressed with the depth of talent in the youngest division.

“The future of the quarterback position is bright,” Phillips said. “These young men competed at a very high level, showed tremendous poise, and demonstrated why they are among the top young quarterbacks in the country.”

When the final scores were tabulated, Andrew Bennett of St. Cloud, FL emerged as the overall champion of the 2033 class. Bennett’s consistent performance throughout the competition earned him top honors and established him as one of the premier young quarterbacks in the nation.

Finishing as the runner-up was Barrett Brady of Jacksonville, FL, who pushed Bennett throughout the competition and delivered an impressive showing of his own against a nationally selected field of quarterbacks.

As a result of their performances, both Bennett and Brady have earned automatic invitations to Football Hotbed’s 13th Annual Middle School All-American Game, which will be played in Miami, Florida.

“The 2033 group was outstanding from top to bottom,” Phillips said. “Andrew and Barrett separated themselves over the course of the competition, but the entire class showed why the future of youth football is in good hands.”

The Future 4 competition has become one of the nation’s premier platforms for identifying and developing elite young quarterbacks, with many former participants going on to become nationally ranked prospects and future high school standouts.

For Bennett and Brady, their performances in Durham at Duke and at Ravenscroft in Raleigh represent the beginning of what promises to be exciting football journeys as they continue to develop on the Football Hotbed National Showcase platform.
